CrownBirth Launches TAMS, a ‘Re-Imagined EdTech Solution’ for Schools and Education Stakeholders

Crownbirth has launched TAMS – Technology-Assisted Academic Management System, a multi-tenant cloud-based school management system with a personalized platform that promises a better user-experience that drifts stakeholders’ perception to technology adoption and encourages mutually-beneficial partnerships.

The launch, which took place on the 25th of November in Abeokuta, had His Excellency, Otunba Gbenga Daniel (Former Executive Governor of Ogun State) as the special guest of honour along with other reputable keynote speakers.

In his presentation titled ‘Accelerating the Digital Economy: Investing in EduTech Solutions,’ Ajibade Laolu-Adewale, Head of Partnership, Digital Solutions and FINTECH in WEMA Bank stated that, “Although technology usage across the country is growing, there’s still a lot of resistance to change at every level, and innovation can be blocked or slowed at the hands of multiple stakeholders often due to misconceptions, resistance to change or unwillingness to see the need and/or potential benefits.”

Laolu-Adewale added that “TAMS solution will automate daily routines and tedious paper works and administrative protocol in the school. In fact, it will enhance management capabilities, ease school fee payment, improve education delivery, increase data security, reduce redundancy, reduce cost, enhance learning, efficiently manage resources, and reduce the communication gap between parents and educators, most especially during this post-COVID-19 era.”

Dr. Adefunke Ekine (Deputy Director, Research and External Relations, Tai Solarin University of Education, Ogun State), while presenting ‘School Management Gaps and the New Normal,’ stated that effective schools depend majorly on infrastructure, school records, and human resources. Dr. Ekine, however, added that of all these three things, the human resources stand out clearly as the most important.

In another presentation, Ademola Adenubi, Founder & CEO, Crownbirth, a value-driven EdTech start-up that is based in Ogun State said, “TAMS provides technology solutions to enhance the quality of education to automate school processes and operations as well as act as a service to schools and earn a commission in return.”

“Some of TAMS’ unique value proposition include personalization, self-boarding, optimized platform, agency approach, and integrated payment,” Adenubi added.
