VIBE K5

Lenovo launched two new budget smartphones – the VIBE K5 and VIBE K5 Plus at the MWC 2016.

Both phones come with the same design which consists mainly of an aluminum body with lots of faux metals covering certain parts of the device. They also comes with a curved back which helps both phones sit nicely in the palm of your hand.

Both phones come with 5 inch displays, 2GB of RAM a removable 2750mAh battery, 16GB of internal storage (expandable to 32GB with the use of a microSD card), 13MP rear cameras, 5MP front cameras and dual SIM slots.

Both phones run on the Android 5.1 Lollipop, skinned with LG’s typical customizations on top.

The difference between both devices is that the K5 is powered by a Snapdragon 415 and has a 720p resolution, while the VIBE K5 Plus is powered by a Snapdragon 616 processor and full HD (1080p) display.

Lenovo announced that both devices would be available for purchase in select markets in March for $129 and $149.
