AppleCare One: Apple’s New Subscription Covers Multiple Devices Under One Plan

Apple is launching a new service called AppleCare One, a subscription-based plan that allows users to protect multiple Apple devices under a single plan. Starting at $19.99 per month, AppleCare One provides coverage for up to three devices, and users can add more devices at an additional $5.99 per device each month.

This new plan offers all the benefits of AppleCare Plus, including:

  • Unlimited repairs for accidental damage
  • Battery coverage
  • 24/7 priority support
  • Theft and Loss coverage for iPhones, iPads, and Apple Watches

One standout feature of the AppleCare One subscription is the flexibility to add older Apple products to the plan. Devices that are up to four years old can be included, a significant improvement over the current 60-day post-purchase window required for AppleCare Plus. However, these older devices must be in “good condition,” and Apple may require a diagnostic check before approving coverage. Notably, headphones can only be added if they’re less than a year old.

Theft and Loss protection already available under AppleCare Plus for certain devices is also included in the AppleCare One plan for eligible products.

AppleCare One will officially launch on July 24th, and users can subscribe directly from their iPhone, iPad, or Mac, or by visiting an Apple Store.

This move is part of Apple’s broader push into services, complementing its existing Apple One bundle, which groups services like iCloud, Apple Music, and Apple TV+. The company recently reported record-breaking services revenue, highlighting the increasing importance of subscription models to its business strategy.
