Microsoft revealed that over a million people are testing the preview of Windows 10 even though it does not have all its features in place yet. Microsoft has been able to gather information on how to improve the OS from the 200,000 nuggets of “user-initiated feedback” it received from the users.
The Windows 10 preview was launched about two weeks ago and Joe Belfiore, Microsoft Corporate Vice President of Operating Systems, revealed on Windows blog:
“It’s been awesome to see so many of you joining the Windows Insider Program and letting us know what you think about the Windows 10 Technical Preview software,” Belfiore also stated kamagrawiki.org that Windows 10 “is going to be a different Windows.”
‘’Microsoft plans to share its plans and progress with users earlier and more often, as we want to build a Windows that everyone will love and really enjoy using.”
Microsoft Corporate Vice President of Operating Systems stated that 36% of Windows 10 preview users have tentatively installed the OS on virtual machines while 64% are actually installing the Windows preview directly on their laptops.
He continued to state that more than seven apps are launched per day by 68% users. This shows that people are keen on what Windows 10 has to offer and are eager to test it and provide resourceful feedback to help perfect the final version.
