How to re-Open Browser tabs you’ve previously closed accidentally

Well, the new year has come, and I hope this year turns out to be the best one ever for each and every one of you!

Have you ever had two or more tabs open in your web browser and closed one of them by accident, either with an errant mouse click or by simply closing the wrong one?

I do it all the time, and it used to frustrate me to no end. But now I simply work a quick bit of magic and the accidentally closed tab instantly reappears!

Well, truth be told it isn’t really magic, but rather a couple “tricks” using the keyboard or mouse  – your choice! Here they are:

Press the Ctrl + Shift + T keyboard combination. (refer to the below image.)

OR

Right-click on any open browser tab and click Reopen closed tab.

Whether you prefer to use method one or two, the result is the same: The last tab you closed in your web browser will reopen with the web page that was displayed at time of its untimely closure sitting there waiting for you to continue where you left off! Repeat the process and the next to last tab you closed will re-open.

This tip works with Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome (and perhaps other browsers as well, but I have only tested it with these three).
