On the 21st of February, 2014, Techcabal hosted a showcase of Nigerian technology startups at the first edition of the Techcabal Battlefield. Seven startups presented their products and businesses to an audience of users, geeks and investors in a bid to win the biggest Nigerian technology startup prize ever — $20,000, courtesy of Stanbic IBTC Bank and iROKING.com.
PrepClass an online portal that helps students prepare for popular examinations. The startup’s initial focus is on the nationwide JAMB exams – www.prepclass.com.ng won the Battlefield Competition, while CallBase and Autobox came 2nd and 3rd respectively.
