Team Nnamdi wins TotalWennovation Hack 1.0

Total Nigeria Plc and Wennovation Hub are pleased to announce the result of the first edition of the TotalWennovation Hack which took place from January 21 – 22, 2015. The hackathon attracted developers and innovators from across the country.  It witnessed computer programmers and others involved in software development, collaborate intensively to build software solutions to defined problem statements by Total Nigeria plc.

The two-day event saw ten finalist teams, preselected from a concept-note submission stage, develop and pitch their innovative ideas. Team Nnamdi (led by Nnamdi Christopher Iroaganachi) won with a total of 356.7 points. The first runner-up was Team Jaja (led by Jaja Vincent Tamunomi), second runner-up was Team Ikponmwosa (led by Ikponmwosa Ogbeide) and the third runner-up was Team Ani (led by Ani Isaac Ugochukwu). The four winning teams won prizes of $1000, $500, $250 and $250 respectively. Total Nigeria Plc and Wennovation Hub would make the decision to award further development grants to the winning team if found capable after the review of their solutions.
