Snapchat plans to acquire VURB

Snapchat after the loss of its story feature to Instagram seem to have gotten a secret plan to get into the market again

The social network platform recently plans to acquire an unfamiliar search engine company, “Vurb” and this new plan is currently going to cost them about about $110 million; seventy-five percent on stock and twenty-five percent in cash.

The question on everybody’s mind right now is very simple; What is Snapchat thinking?

Vurb is a search and discovery app which began five years ago with plans to defeat the Google market. The search engine available on Apple App store, Android Google play store and Amazon App store;gives you news and suggestions tailored to what you love and keeps you updated with trending topics that you care about. You can search and save places, movies, TV shows, music, videos, books, articles, etc. You can make plans and share results on the Vurb Chat, text or email.

Vurb seems very exciting as it offers quite a lot but even after the $10 million from its investors, the app failed to get enough attention and now Snapchat plans to get it.

The reason for Snapchat’s decision still a mistery, speculations suggests that the company might be trying  to use the search engine to make finding users and content easier or might have plans of using Vurb’s social sharing capabilities to allow users share information and not just experiences with their snaps

Everyone can think whatever, we all just have to wait and find out Snapchat’s plan so every single one of you should hold on to your phones tightly
