Tecno Phantom 5 have been around for a while now and there has been lots of discussions on forums and social media basically comparing the offering of the device and the price.
While I will publish a full review about the device in coming days, i thought it best to share some of the pictures taken with the Tecno Phantom 5 camera.
There has been great improvement in the camera and camera technology of every successive Tecno flagship, an area which always gets a low score from me considering what we saw on the predecessors of the Phantom Z.
While i am impressed with the camera (both front and back), i will share some pictures under different conditions for you to see and make your own informed decision.
Please note that the pictures are in high resolutions, exactly what was taken with the full resolution of the 13MP and the 8MP front camera.
Outdoor conditions: Pictures look sharp and bright under outdoor conditions.
Indoor with artificial lighting:
Indoor with low lighting Low light picture looks quite noisy. I think Tecno still need to improve on camera quality under low light conditions.
Indoor, low light with camera flash: The bright dual flash actually lights up the subject

Indoor Selfie with front flash: So i decided to use the front flash to brighten the selfie taken in the low lit environment.
Arrgghhh!!! I cant believe i just uploaded some of my selfie pictures here… Never mind i am just a shy person.
To wrap this up, i can say that the Phantom 5 camera is quite impressive. The front camera delivers picture detail while the front flash is a blessing for those who like to take selfies at night.
The dual-flash at the back is also bright and takes care of your photo sessions at night. However you still get some noisy picture quality under low light conditions.
