Microsoft has just released “Send”, an application built for brief and snappy communications, almost like a chat platform. Only it works strictly via email. According to the company, Send gives you the simple, quick text message-like experience on your Office 365 registered email accounts. With Send, you don’t have to search your inbox, start a new thread, or even type out a subject line. You can just have a fast, almost realtime conversation where you can actually see when someone is typing their response.
Also, with Send, the messages or mails you see are only the ones started in the app and not the entire menu of your inbox which helps you stay organised and in control. Even more, when you ‘Send’ a message to someone’s email, the recipient can reply even when they do not have the app. In the mean time, Send is available for iPhone in the U.S. and Canada, and is coming soon to Windows Phone and Android phones.
