About 3 months ago, sammobile mentioned that it had received information that an Olympic Edition of either the Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge were in the works. Well, the leaked image you see above, released by @evleaks seems to confirm that that was probably not just another rumour.
Although you may not be aware, Samsung is in the habit of making special editions of its flagship devices. Two of such special edition devices are the Galaxy Note 3 Olympic Games Edition made for the 2014 winter Olympics in Russia and the more recent Batman-Inspired Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, among others.
This leaked image thou doesn’t tell us much. In fact for me it just raises all sorts of questions. When will it be released? In what countries will it be available? Will athletes and employees at the 2016 Rio Games get one for free (like was the case at the 2014 winter Olympics)?
But then again who all this my questions wan epp? Lol.
We’ll just have to wait for Samsung to give us an official statement.
