Intel partners Lenovo and Microsoft in Best of Both Worlds campaign

World renowned technology firms Intel, Microsoft and Lenovo have announced the launch of the Best of Both Worlds campaign in Nigeria. The campaign was launched on 3rd November 2015 and aims to give users the practicability of using 2in1 devices that allow them the flexibility to conveniently switch between PCs and Tablets whenever they want.

The Campaign also highlighted how users can get more creativity, productivity and self-expression out of the 2in1 devices, for the price of just one. The Managing Director, Intel West Africa, Mr. Olubunmi Ekundare while speaking during the event said “Intel is very passionate about educating Nigerian consumers on the ground-breaking technology of the 2in1 category of devices which offer users the opportunity for more productivity and creativity. Partnering with Lenovo and Microsoft on the Best of Both Worlds campaign is our way of doing that,”

The Best of Both Worlds campaign launch also saw popular media personality, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu unveiled as the campaign’s ambassador. On the unveiling of the Campaign ambassador, Ekundare added that “We think Ebuka is the right fit, he has a very successful and dynamic career and no doubt needs a device that will help him connect on the go and achieve as much productivity as possible. On the flip side, Ebuka also has a playful and exciting side to him. A 2in1 device with its full tablet and PC capabilities, duality and flexibility will enable him in deciding whether to be in work or play mode each day.”

Regional Manager PCG, East and West Africa, Lenovo, David Caleb, mentioned that his company will be using this campaign in increasing users awareness of the several advancements in technology that now bring the flexibility of modern life into full view by showing them the exciting experiences offered by Lenovo’s 2in1 devices; the Lenovo Yoga 300- which is a stylish convertible for the lower end of the market with 11.6-inch HD display, and the Yoga 500 with 14-inch full HD display, 15.6-inch form factor, and up to 8GB RAM.

The devices in the Lenovo Yoga Series are powered by Intel’s best processors, and Microsoft office and Windows capabilities. The Yoga 300 comes with Microsoft Office 365 for a year and sports an Intel Pentium N3540 quad-core processor with integrated Intel HD graphics, while the Yoga 500 houses up to 5th generation Intel Core i7 processors and comes bundled with Windows 8.1 OS which can be upgraded to Windows 10.

Mark Ihimoyan, Consumer Channel Group Director, Microsoft Nigeria, while speaking on his company’s efforts said “Microsoft continues to empower every individual and organization on the planet to achieve more. Microsoft and its device partners are delivering a new wave of Windows 10 device innovation, with special designs and components that light up Windows 10 experiences that will delight customers.  We have collaborated closely, for months, to refine how the devices bring Windows 10 to life, and help people around the world to achieve more.” he also added that the Office 365 personal subscription bundle with the Lenovo Yoga device would help enhance personal productivity.

Ebuka Obi-Uchendu- The Best of Both Worlds Campaign Ambassador revealed that a calendar full of activities has been planned for the campaign during the holiday season.
