InnJoo has launched two new smartphones in Nigeria, the InnJoo Halo and InnJoo Fire Plus which comes with large batteries are specially designed for Nigerians and promises to deliver longer usage time. The event was held in the University of Lagos witnessed a mammoth crowd of younger generation, students and fans of the brand.
The two devices, Halo and Fire Plus comes with 3,200mAh and 3,600mAh battery capacities respectively and are also enabled with the fast charging technology. This is rather impressive when you compare these smartphones’ power capabilities with other smartphones that falls within the same range.
‘‘To provide the most competitive product considering the market requirement in the best time is the core of our business strategy to establish leadership in the market’’ Robert Liang, InnJoo managing Director said. Power has been a big issue in Nigeria and this has lead Nigerians to constantly recharge their phones and also go about with power banks. ‘‘It is why we take into account to improve the situation with these new smartphones’’ Robert added.
InnJoo Halo has a 5-inch HD IPS display, 5MP and 2MP rear and front camera respectively, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB. The Android OS is overlaid with the InnUI, powered by a 1.2GHz Quad-core processor and blessed with a 3,200mAh battery which is expected to last for about 2 days.
The Fire Plus, which is another model of the Fire series is a 5.5-inch smartphone with a large battery clocked at 3,600mAh. This is powered by a 64-bit Octa-core processor to deliver consistent performance at a faster speed and enable easy multitasking. The 13MP back camera and 5MP front camera will enhance the passion of the picture and selfie enthusiast. RAM size is 2GB and internal storage is 16GB which can be expanded upto 128GB with a memory card.
InnJoo Halo will be available is now available for pre-order on Jumia for N13,999 while the Fire plus will sell for N26,700
