Yeah!! You read the title and it’s not a joke neither is it a hoax, we can confirm to you that Infinix mobile is set to introduce another smartphone…. Just when we’re thinking that smartphone manufacturers are done for the year and spoiling us with choices of devices to buy for our loved ones this festive season. Oh! Yes I just reminded you, Christmas is just by the corner so u need to holla at that uncle, errrhhh!! boyfriend or that someone that has promised you a new smartphone.
Infinix smartphones are arguably the highest selling devices in Nigeria and the company have decided to increase buyers’ option with the announcement of a new and ‘bigger’ smartphone. Noticed I said ‘bigger’. Yes at least from what I saw on one of my visits to my friends in their Nigerian office. While detail specifications isn’t released yet, Nigerians should expect a smartphone with a bigger screen size.
I am sure this new phone will be an addition to the Infinix Hot Note line up, if you consider the size which should be around the 6-inches mark. Another pointer is that the other line ups already have additions this year, there is the Infinix Zero 2 which followed the Infinix Zero, the Infinix Hot 2 which was recently launched in partnership with Google under the Android One program is also an addition to the very popular Infinix Hot. Now we are left with the Hot Note (right in the middle in the image above)which is yet to have a senior brother.
While we do not have the official name for the device yet, we expect the company to let that out in a few weeks.
What should Nigerians expect?
Going by the pointers stated above, if we eventually get a new Note from Infinix, then you should expect a specs upgrade to the Hot Note. Top of that is a bigger battery which will deliver extra battery life so users don’t have to worry about hugging the wall all the time, a bigger screen for a better viewing and multimedia experience. We also expect an improvement to the fast charging technology on the Hot Note.
