Microsoft has announced at the official name for the new browser coming to the windows 10 operating system, it is called Microsoft Edge. The name was announced during the company’s build conference and the Edge will be the primary/default browser for Windows 10.
Recently news went round after the launch of Windows 10 operating system that tech giant Microsoft will ditched its popular Internet Explorer browser for a new browser. At that time, the official name for the browser was not known, what we only knew was “Project Spartan”
Here are a few features of the Edge:
- It has built-in Cortana support.
- It has built-in reader, note-taking and sharing features.
- The design focuses on simplicity and minimalism.
- The rendering engine is called EdgeHTML.
Microsoft Edge will be the only browser running on Microsoft Windows 10 mobile, but users have the option of downloading the Edge browser or Internet Explorer 11 for laptops, tablets, or desktop computers.
